VITRA meeting tables

Tyde by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec extends the concept and benefits of alternating work in standing and sitting positions to double workstations and conference tables. The Tyde program meets current acoustic requirements of “open space” offices by special features : first , the electric motor height adjustment , hidden under the table in an insulated housing is very quiet.

As Tyde workstations , meeting tables are equipped with a polyester cable tray, which reduces height adjustment engine noise while contributing to the overall sound absorption of open space offices. Thanks to the simple height adjustment mechanism, meetings may be organized spontaneously, sitting or standing, – the “stand -up” meetings being particularly suited to shorter discussions. The standing meetings help to promote concentration and good posture by preventing participants to slouch passively on their chairs. Tyde meeting tables are available in sizes up to 10 people.
